The admission test of DU has rescheduled once again

The admission test of Dhaka University was postponed for two more months for the second time as the epidemic situation did not improve during the coronal period. According to the new decision, the admission test for the first-year undergraduate (honors) class of the 2020-21 academic year will start from October 1.

All these decisions were taken at the meeting of the Deans Committee of Dhaka University on 13 July (Tuesday).

According to the new examination schedule, the admission test of the 'A' unit will be held on October 1, 'B' unit on October 2, the 'C' unit on October 22, the 'D' unit on October 23, and 'E' unit on October 9.

The admission test system is being changed this time. In the previous exams, students were evaluated on the basis of a total of 200 marks. The merit list was prepared by adding the marks obtained in the examination of 120 marks and the marks obtained in the marks of 80 on the basis of GPA of SSC and HSC.

According to the new decision, the students will be evaluated on the basis of a total of 100 marks. For GPA of SSC and HSC, there will be 20 marks, the remaining 80 marks will be for the examination. Out of the 80 marks, 30 marks will be MCQ and 50 marks will be written test.

Students applied online from March 8 to 31 to take part in the admission test for the 2020-21 academic year. Earlier, the Dhaka University authorities had decided to take the admission test in the first phase in May. Two months later, it was decided to take it from July 31. Now, it has been rescheduled once again.
