Young music director Prithwi Raj passes away

Young music director Prithwi Raj died early Sunday at his own Dhanmondi studio in the capital. He was 34 years old.

At around 4:30am, he breathed his last, said his co-worker at ABC radio Ehsan Titu.

Last night, Prithwi went to his home in Dhanmondi. His family members rushed and found Prithwi unconscious before 12:30am, he said.

He was later taken to the City Hospital where he was declared dead by doctors around 4:00am, said Titu.

Prithwi's Namaz-e-janaza will be held today after Zohr prayers, said Ritu Raj, the deceased's younger brother in a Facebook post.
 

He would later be buried in the cemetery of Azimpur.
