Actor Afran Nisho’s father dies of Covid-19

Md Abdul Hamid Mia Bhola, the father of television actor Afran Nisho, died early Thursday at a hospital in the capital from coronavirus infections. He'd been 75.
Bhola, who was a member of the Tangail District Council and Secretary General of the Bhuapur Upazila Awami League, breathed his last while receiving treatment at Shyamoli's Bangladesh Specialist Hospital's Intensive Care Unit ( ICU).
Kazi Imran, personal assistant to MP Tanvir Hasan Choto Monir of the Tangail-2 (Bhunapur-Gopalpur) constituency, confirmed the matter.
The freedom fighter had suffered from kidney failure for a long time, he said.
Hamid left two sons, a daughter and a host of well-wishers behind his wife to mourn his death.
