Positivity rate 28.57% as 2 infected with Covid-19 in C'nawabganj

The district witnessed a surging positivity rate of 28.57 percent in Covid-19 infection despite two persons were diagnosed with the lethal virus during the last 24 hours till this morning.

During the time, seven samples were tested while two persons were detected positive for COVID-19, showing the infection rate 28.57 percent, civil surgeon office sources confirmed.

All the newly detected patients are from sadar upazila.

A total of 78 patients are undergoing treatment in the district. Of them, 23 are at dedicated Covid hospital and others at home.

Meanwhile, 157 patients have died of COVID-19 and 5,649 have recovered from the disease so far here, the sources added.
