After the huge popularity of the Redmi Note 7 series, Xiaomi faced some criticism for its note 8 and 9 series. Xiaomi expects to regain that pride with its latest Redmi Note 10 series released globally on March 2021. The Redmi Note 10 Smartphone shocks the world with awesome features, like Super AMOLED display, 33W charger, dual stereo speaker, etc. However, Xiaomi has kept some limitations in Note 10 to keep the difference with its Pro variants. Stay with us to read Redmi Note 10s full review price in Bangladesh.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10: Review of Key features

Design

Usually, the Redmi Note series phones weigh a bit heavier than other Xiaomi phones. But surprisingly, weighing 178g with only 8.3mm width, the latest Note 10 appears about lighter and thinner than its predecessor Note 9. The nicely curved edges, slim design, and lightweight body make this phone comfortable to hold by one hand.

Note 10’s glass-built display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. This phone sports SGS Eye Care certification, which is certainly a blessing for the users who tend to use phones for long hours.

If you are looking for a metal body phone, Redmi Note 10 may disappoint you. This phone has a plastic frame-built body. And its rear panel features ‘Glasstic’ (combination of plastic and glass) construction. Its glossy rear panel reflects aura but catches fingerprints and smudges too frequently. It is recommended to apply a good back cover to keep the phone clean.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 comes with the IP53 certified, dust and splash resistant surface which keeps it ahead of Note 9. We can expect that Redmi Note 10’s rear camera series would be protected from dirt and water splashes.

The bezels of this phone are quite slim, but the bottom chin is comparatively thicker. This phone is available in 3 amazing color options; those are shadow black, frost white, and aqua green.

On the right side, you will find the power button and the volume rocker. The power button also serves as a Fingerprint scanner. There is a SIM tray holding a triple card slot on the left side. So, you can apply a dual SIM with a dedicated memory card in this phone. The top edge is packed with IR bluster, secondary noise cancellation microphone and speaker. It bears the main speaker, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio port, and Primary microphone on the bottom edge.

On the back panel, Note 10 holds a rectangular camera housing featuring a low bump. The design of camera housing may remind you Xiaomi’s latest flagship Smartphone Mi 11. On the front screen, the camera punch-hole is placed at the center. Its tiny appearance won’t hamper your views while watching media.

Display

Ending all the rumors, Note 10 debuts with an impressive display. Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Note 10 out-shines its predecessor Note 9’s IPS LCD display with a stunning Super AMOLED panel. However, compared to Note 9’s 6.53-inch display, the Note 10 comes with a bit smaller screen size (6.43-inch). But it has Full HD resolution (1080 by 2400 pixels) with 20:9 ratios and about 395PPI density.

Here you get 450 nits typical brightness. Note 10 again surmounts Note 9 with an outstanding 120Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits peak brightness. Whether you stay indoors and outdoor, you can enjoy content conveniently.

The display presents soothing color vibrancy, decent color contrast, and amazing viewing angles.  Provision of Wide vine L1 certification will allow you to enjoy contents at HD streaming from Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other platforms.

Camera

On the backside, Redmi Note 10 has a quad-camera setup. It bears a 48MP prime shooter built with a 26mm wide SONY IMX 582 sensor with an aperture of f/1.79. There is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor featuring an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera housing also includes a 2MP macro and 2MP depth shooter.

The picture quality of its 48MP prime rear camera is nice. It takes decent images with close-to-natural color tones, good color contrast, saturation, efficient dynamic range, and proper detailing. The Night Mode is applicable only to the main shooter. It captures images fast, reduces grain, and increases brightness.

Redmi Note’s 8MP Ultra-wide sensor delivers a 118-degree field-of-view. This camera can take attractive photos with good dynamic range, contrasts, and details. However, this phone struggles in maintaining the white balance of the images.

The Macro camera and Depth camera provide average performance. However, the predecessor Note 9’s Macro shooter came with an Auto-focus feature which is not present in Note 10. It may disappoint the Redmi Fans who have a passion for Macro Photography!

On the front side, Redmi Note 10 offers a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture. However, at this point, Note 10 faces down-gradation from its ancestor Note 9’s selfie sensor bearing f/2.3aperture. While capturing portraits, Note 10’s front camera may struggle in edge detection. In presence of ample daylight, this sensor captures eye-catching photos, but images bear a smoothening effect. In low light conditions, the photos may show some grains.

Redmi Note 10’s overall camera performance is good. Another interesting fact is you can apply GCAM to this phone. However, considering the price range, Redmi Note 10’s camera may not excite the Xiaomi fans, like some other phones (like Redmi 9 Power) from the same brand are offering 48MP at a much lower price range!

With the rear camera, you can shoot up to 4K footage at 30FPS without a stabilization facility. So, if you want to shoot videos at maximum capacity, hold the phone firmly; otherwise a little shake may decrease the video quality. Furthermore, Redmi Note 10 allows video recording in slow motion.

The Gyro EIS stabilization facility is available for shooting 1080p videos at 30fps. Its front camera can capture 1080p footage at 30fps. The quality of the videos is acceptable but no so impressive!

Processor and Memory

Redmi Note 10 comes with Qualcomm’s latest 11 nm chipset Snapdragon 678. This new chipset is almost similar to SD 720G processor. Note 10’s CPU features an Octa-core processor built with two high-performance core (Kryo 460 Gold cores with 2.2 GHz clock speed) and six power-efficient cores (Kryo 460 Silver cores with 1.7 GHz clock speed).

The CPU is coupled with Adreno 612 GPU. Though it was released in 2019, some modifications have done to this graphics card for application in Note 10.

Redmi Note 10 comes in three variants: 4GB by 64GB, 4GB by 128 GB and 6GB by 128GB. All variants are equipped with LPDDR4X RAM. In this latest Xiaomi phone, you will enjoy UFS 2.2 technology. You can use up to 512GB external memory card on this phone.

Performance

Xiaomi boasts about the Haptic engine feature provided in its latest Note 10 series. Not to mention, Note 10’s Haptic Feedback feature will certainly improve your browsing experience.

The side-mounted fingerprint scanner feels comfortable to press. It unlocks the device quickly but may show some lags after opening. Probably it is an optimization problem of MIUI OS. Besides this, Note 10 has a face unlock system that works fast.

Thanks to Xiaomi for providing a dual stereo speaker in Note 10 device. The performance of the speakers is loud and clear. Though you might experience some distortion of sounds at the full volume, its sound quality is better than similarly priced competitors.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 runs on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. Though the latest MIUI12 OS comes with advanced features, better optimization is needed on Note 10 to assure a better user experience.

Another point to be noted is that whenever a new processor is applied to any phone, it suffers from an optimization issue. As the Redmi Note 10 sports a new Snapdragon processor 678, it may fail to deliver its full performance due to some lacking in optimization.

By virtue of Xiaomi’s exclusive IR Bluster technology, you can conveniently use the other electronics products, like AC, TV, etc.

For day-to-day use and multi-tasking, this latest Redmi Phone delivers impressive performance. The gamers can smoothly play advanced multiplayer games like PUBG, COD, Asphalt 9, etc. However, some frame drops may occur at higher graphic settings.

In Redmi Note 10, call quality is satisfactory. Its dual SIM supports the 4G network. This phone supports 2.4 and 5GHZ dual-band Wi-Fi; Bluetooth Version 5.0 and charging port Type C Port version 2.0.

Like the previous Redmi Note series phones, the Note 10 is not free from heating issues. If you use this phone for several hours continuously for capturing images; shooting videos; watching videos; or playing games, then this device may catch some heat. But it cools down quickly if laid down on a flat surface.

Battery

Xiaomi provides a 5000mAh Li-Po battery in Redmi Note 10. Though this battery falls behind Redmi 9 Power’s 6000mAh battery, it can support for almost one-and-half or two days on moderate use. On extreme use, Note 10 offers 8 hours of SOT. What is more? The provision of a 33W charger is a great leap from Note 9’s 18W charging adapter.

Xiaomi claims that the provided 33W Fast charging adapter can charge 50% in only 25 min, and 100% in about 74 min. In real life testing, it took 30 min to charge up to 60% and 75 min to charge 100%.

Redmi Note 10 Price in Bangladesh

The Redmi Note 10 series is now unofficially available in Bangladesh. The price range of different variants stays between 19000 to 25000 Taka.

Verdict

So far we have reviewed the key features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Smartphone. This smartphone comes with some amazing features like smart design, Super AMOLED display, standard battery, powerful camera, fast charging adapter, dual stereo speaker, etc. However, it has some drawbacks like optimization problems in its processor and MIUI12 OS. If you are looking for the latest Xiaomi Smartphone with up-to-date features you may consider Redmi Note 10.
