India declare their first innings at 649 for 9 at Tea on the second day of the opening cricket Test against the West Indies in Rajkot.

As soon as Ravindra Jadeja completed his maiden Test hundred with a single in the 150th over, Captain Kohli declared the Indian first innings.

Centuries from Prithvi Shaw, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja powered India to a massive total.

Jadeja finished unbeaten on 100 from 132 balls, hitting five fours and five sixes as India continued to plunder the hapless West Indies bowling attack.

Earlier in the day, Kohli eased his way to 139 to register his 24th Test century, while Rishabh Pant stroked a quickfire 92 from 84 balls.

Brief Scores:

India 1st Innings: 649/9 in 149.5 overs (Virat Kohli 139, Prithvi Shaw 134, Ravindra Jadeja 100 , Devendra Bishoo 4/217).
