Spinner Kuldeep Yadav claimed five wickets as India beat West Indies by an innings and 272 runs inside three days in the first Test in Rajkot on Saturday.
Following on, the tourists were bowled out for 196 early in the final session to trail the two-match series 1-0. Kieran Powell top-scored with 83.
The West Indies were bowled out for 181 in their first innings in response to a formidable Indian score of 649-9 declared.
