Shakib ruled out of New Zealand ODIs

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan sustained an injury to his left ring finger during the final of the sixth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League and has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, scheduled to start on February 13.

“An X-ray was done after the match and the results have confirmed a fracture on the left ring finger. The affected area will now have to be immobilised for around three weeks,” said Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician Dr. Debashish Chowdhury was quoted as saying in a BCB media release.
