In the ongoing 13th South Asian Games in Nepal on Tuesday, Bangladesh won the fourth gold medal as Humayra Akter Antora Shefa secured it in the 61 kg category of Women's Singler Karate.

On the same day, in 55 kg and 60 kg category, Marjana Akter Piya and Al Amin won gold medal single karate events.

This is Bangladesh's best day with three gold medals in the SA games this year taking the tally of four so far.

When Humayra Akter won bronze in Women's Single Karate on Monday, Bangladesh won their first trophy. On the same day, as Dipu Chakma defeated his South Asian rivals in taekwondo, Bangladesh secured the first gold medal.

On Monday, Bangladesh won one gold medal and twelve bronze medals. They did not manage a good start in men's football, however, as they lost in the opening game to Bhutan 0-1.

Hosts Nepal lead the games medal table winning 11 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze medals while holders India preceded them with 3 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze medals.
