Mahmudul Hasan accorded reception

The Burichang Upazila Administration and Upazila Parishad jointly granted a Saturday afternoon reception to U-19 World Cup winning cricketer Mahmudul Hasan here at upazila auditorium, reports UNB.

Abdul Matin Khasru MP, former law minister and presidium member of the Awami League, was the chief guest at the function chaired by UN Imrul Hasan.

Chairman of the Burichong Upazila Parishad Akhlakh Haider, former President of Brahmanpara Upazila Jahangir Khan Chowdhury and Chairman of the Burichang Upazila Awami League Advocate Abul Hashem Khan attended the meeting as special guests.

Earlier, after his arrival at his village home' Uttar Gram ' people from all walks of life welcomed Mahmudul Hasan.

At the Uttar Gram Government Primary School ground the villagers arranged a reception for him.    

He was also given reception at Rajapur Union Parishad. Among others, there were local UP chairman Golam Mostafa, and engineer Idris Mehedi.
