As Portugal thrashed Andorra, Cristiano Ronaldo moved one goal closer to the all-time world goalscoring record in men's football.

With a powerful header, Ronaldo, 35, scored his 102nd goal for his country and is now seven behind Iran's Ali Daei record.

Wolves forward Pedro Neto-one of five Wanderers players in the Portugal squad-also scored on his debut.

For Belgium, Michy Batshuayi twice scored as they defeated Switzerland 2-1.

And as Turkey and Croatia drew 3-3, Leicester winger Cengiz Under scored.

The rationale of a friendly before two rounds of Nations League matches may be dubious, with 127 places in the current Fifa rankings between Portugal (seven) and Andorra (134).

After picking up an ankle injury against Lazio last weekend, Juventus forward Ronaldo was left on the bench as a precaution, and substituted Neto at the break.

With five minutes left with a thumping header, he scored Portugal's sixth goal.
