Bangladesh beat West Indies by six wickets in first ODI

In Wednesday's first one-day match of the three-match series at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh saw six wickets win against West Indies.
After a one-year ban, Shakib Al Hasan, playing his first ODI, helped Bangladesh bowl out a depleted West Indies for 122 in just 32.2 overs. In a brilliant international return, he took four wickets for just eight runs.
In response, in 33.5 overs, the home side reached 125-4, with skipper Tamim Iqbal hitting 44 off 69 balls.
With 40, Kyle Mayers top-scored for the West Indies, while for Bangladesh, debutant Hasan Mahmud claimed 3-28.
Akeal Hosein, the debutant left-arm spinner, delighted the visitors with the ball, taking 3-26.
Friday marks the second ODI of the three-match series.
