Russel mourns death of ICC cricket umpire Nadir Shah

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of ICC panel umpire as well as former Bangladesh cricketer Nadir Shah.

In a condolence message, the state minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Nadir Shah died of a lung cancer at a hospital here in the early hours of today at the age of 57.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Road No-7 mosque in the city's Dhanmondi area after Jumma prayers.
