UN Women has launched its 5th multipurpose Women Centre at Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar recently to support women’s empowerment.

The centre is built with the funds from the UK Department for International Development (DFID) for the construction, and contributions Japan and Canada for the operation and activities in the MPWC, said a media release on Sunday.

The center is managed by BRAC, with supervision provided by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA).
