ICJ fixes time-limits for filing of initial pleadings

In the case surrounding the implementation of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Gambia v. Myanmar), the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has set time limits for filing the original pleadings.
Through order of 23 January 2020, the Court set 23 July 2020 and 25 January 2021 as the respective time limits for the filing by the Republic of Gambia of a Memorial and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar of a Counter-Memorial.
