Global Covid-19 cases top 57.5 million

According to Johns Hopkins University statistics, confirmed COVID-19 cases have reached 57.5 million globally with over 1.3 million fatalities on Saturday.

The death toll from Covid-19 shot up to 1,372,182 according to the data collected by JHU, while the overall caseload crossed 57, 564,083 as of Saturday.

As of Saturday morning, the US, which is the worst affected country, has recorded 11,910, 858 cases with 254,413 fatalities, the data showed.
