5 of a family sustain burn injuries in Dhaka

Five members of a family sustained burn injuries in Shyampur area of the capital early Friday.
The injured are grocer Md Enayet, 40, his wife Marium Begum, 35, two daughters- Anny, 5, and Habiba, 3 and son Jubair, 2.
They were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Enayet’s nephew Wasim told the journalists at the hospital that the five received burn injuries after a fire broke out from electric short circuit in their rented house around 3:00am.
However, fire service control room officer Delwar Hossain said the fire originated from a gas pipe line blast.
