Men, woman killed as bus overturns

At least two people were killed and nine others injured as a bus overturned near the DC (deputy commissioner) office in Madaripur district town on Tuesday morning.
The deceased are Farhad Hossain, 38, of Housdi area of Madaripur Sadar and Sharifa Begum, 50.
A Dhaka-bound bus of Sarbik Paribahan from Madaripur overturned in the area around 10:00am, leaving Farhad dead on the spot and injuring 10 more, said police.
The injured were rushed to Madaripur sadar hospital where Sharifa Begum succumbed to her injuries.
Madaripur additional police superintendant Sumon Kumar Dey confirmed the incident.
