3 workers killed in Sylhet stone extraction site

At least three workers were killed and two others injured in a stone extraction site in Sylhet’s Kanaighat upazila today.
The incident took place in Bangla Tila area this morning. The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
Sylhet police Additional Superintendent Md Shamsul Alam Sarker confirmed The Daily Star of the deaths and said police forces were dispatched at the spot.
According to a report , Bangla Tila area is a remote area. This morning, a hole created for stone extraction collapsed and buried some workers.
However, the daily kept the death toll at two.
