10 shops gutted in Satkhira

At least 10 shops were gutted as a fire broke out at Kumira Bazar in Patkelghata upazila on Tuesday morning.
Molla Jakir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Patkelghata Police Station, said that the fire originated at a grocery shop from an electric short circuit around 9:30 am and engulfed the adjoining ten shops.
On information, a fire fighting team rushed in and doused the fire.
The affected businessmen claimed that the loss of the fire was estimated Tk 10 lakh.
