2 siblings hacked to death in Faridpur

Two siblings were hacked to death by miscreants at Swashan Ghat near Alfadanga Bazar in Faridpur on Thursday night.
Police said the miscreants equipped with sharp weapons attacked Idris Mollah, 48, and Lavlu Mollah, 42, sons of late Zahur Mollah of Magura village in Boalmari upazila, leaving them critically injured.
They were taken to Alfadanga Health Complex and then shifted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where they died this morning, said Shekhar Union Parishad chairman Md Israfil Mollah.
They are believed to have been killed due to previous enmity.
