10 Bangladeshis held in Benapole border

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 10 Bangladeshi nationals from Daulatpur border in Benapole on Saturday while entering into the country illegally.

The detainees include four children, three men and three women, hailing from different areas of Narail, Faridpur and Bagerhat districts.

BGB-21 commanding officer Tariqul Hakim said tipped off that some women and children were illegally entering into Bangladesh from India a team of BGB conducted a drive in the morning and detained them.

The detainees were handed over to Benapole port police station.

A case was filed.
