‘Drug trader’ held with heroin in C’nawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested an alleged drug trader along with 1.1kg heroin from Sujonpara area of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila early Saturday.
The arrestee was identified as M Momin, 32, son of late Saidur Rahman, a resident of Pathalia village of the upazila.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-5 of Rajshahi led by camp commander Squadron leader Sayed Abdullah Al-Murad conducted the drive around 3:30am and arrested Momin along with the heroin worth Tk 1 crore, a mobile set and a SIM card, said a press release.
