Madrasa student found dead in Sylhet

Police recovered a body of madrasa student from Khadim tea garden in Sadar upazila on Sunday evening.

Al Amin, 16, son of Nurul Islam, was abducted from Sheikhghat area of the city on Saturday, said Gousul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station.

Later, his father filed a case with the police station Sunday morning.

Police in a drive recovered the strangulated body from the area in the evening and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital, said the OC.

Later, police detained the victim’s brother-in-law for interrogation.
