3 fake DB men held with arms in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested three fake members of Detective Branch (DB) from airport area in the city Tuesday evening.

The arrestees were identified as Ilius Sikder, 28, Nasir, 32, and Md Milon Sarker.

Tipped-off, a team of Rab-1 conducted the drive in airport area around 5:30pm  and arrested the three members of an organised muggers’ gan, who identified themselves as DB police, along with two foreign pistols, eight rounds of ammunitions, private car, signal light, sticks and handcuffs, said  Senior ASP Samira (operation and media officer) Rab-1.
