1 held with 3.27 lakh Saudi riyal at Dhaka airport

Customs intelligence has arrested a man along with 3.27 lakh Saudi riyal equivalent to Tk 72.62 lakh at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
A team of customs intelligence arrested Sobhan Sheikh, a resident of Shreenagar of Munshiganj, after he landed at the airport from Malaysia around 10:10pm last night by MH 196.
Later, they recovered the Saudi currency from his procession.
In a primary interrogation, Sobhan said he was carrying the foreign currency illegally in a bid to buy gold here, the Facebook post said.
