2 held in Chattogram over ‘HSC question paper leakage’

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two members of an HSC question paper leakage gang from the city’s Chawk Bazar area on Monday night.
The arrestees were identified as Afzal, 21, son of Ahmed Safa of Bashkhali upazila, and Abdullah Fahim, 19, son of Abdul Hamid Miah of Khaliajuri upazila in Netrakona district.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive on the ground floor of a building owned by one Moktar Hossain around 11:30 pm and arrested the duo along with six mobile phone sets and 12 SIM cards.
The arrestees were involved in providing question papers to examinees using social networking sites, including WhatsApp, Rab sources claimed.
