Man killed in C’nawabganj road crash

A man was killed when a truck hit a motorbike at Ranihati in Shibganj upazila on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Manirul Islam, an employee of Shibganj upazila Resource Centre and a resident of Tikapara in the district town.

Habibul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station, said the onion-laden truck from Sonamasjid Land Port hit the motorbike carrying Manirul, leaving him injured.

He was rushed to Sadar Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

Police seized the vehicle.
