Man behind card forgery of 5 banks held: CID

Law enforcers today claimed arrest of a man said to be involved with card forgery involving five banks.

A text message sent from the Criminal Investigation Department said the man is the key person behind a recent crime involving ATM card forgery of those banks.

The identity of the man has not been disclosed. About 1,500 cloned cards, card-manufacturing machines and other related substance were said to have been seized from his possession.

Further details in this regard will be disclosed at a press briefing later in the day.
