President to visit Tungipara today

President Md Abdul Hamid will pay tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj on Thursday.

President will pay tributes to Bangabandhu  by placing wreaths at his Mazar (Mausoleum of the Father of the Nation) in Tungipara at noon.

Later, members of the armed forces will give a guard of honour.

The President will also offer fateha and a munajat there seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu.
