3 held with 20,000 Yaba in Satkhira

Detectives in a drive arrested three suspected drug peddlers from a courier service office in the district town early Friday.
The arrestees are Abdus Sattar, son of Alim Sardar ofAlipur village, Nazrul Islam, son of Askar Ali Gazi of Laxmidari village and Sagar of Kulati village in Sadar upazila.
Sajjadur Rahman, superintendent of Satkhira Police, at a press briefing said being tipped off that a gang of smugglers was bringing Yaba from Chittagong via Courier Service, a team of DB police led by additional superintendent (Sadar Circle) Merina Akhter raided ‘Janani Enterprise’ courier service and seized a plastic sack containing Yaba tablets and arrested Abdus Sattar.
Following his information, the team arrested two other Yaba traders.
