Muggers shot man; snatch Tk10.08 lakh in Jhenidah

Muggers snatched cash Tk10.08 lakh and a cheque for Tk four lakh shooting a man in front of Pubali Bank Payra Chattar branch of Jhenidah district town on Sunday morning.
Sadar Police Station OC Afzal Hasan Hafizur Rahman said, a gang of muggers attacked Hasan Faruk, manager of 'Rezaul Karim Oil Pump' in the area around 10am while he was entering the bank.
The muggers opened fire on him and snatched away the money and the cheque.
