Fire at textile mill in Chattogram

A fire broke out at a textile mill in Kumira Maghpukur area of Satkundu upazila in Chattogram on Tuesday morning.
Kafil Uddin, mobilisation officer of Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, said the fire broke out at ‘Royal Knitting Textile Mill’ around 11 am.
On information, nine fighting units rushed to the spot to douse the flame.
However, the fire was not brought under control till filing of this report, said Ariful Islam, officer of Kumira Fire Service and Civil Defence office.
