2 killed in Manikganj road accident

Two people were killed and 12 others injured when a bus rammed a pick-up van on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Annaypur in Shibalaya upazila of Manikganj on Thursday.
One of the deceased was identified as picke-up van driver Liton Hossain, 30.
Amir Hossain, sub-inspector of Borongail Highway Police, said the accident took place around 10 pm when the passenger bus hit the fish-laden pick up van, leaving two people dead on the spot and 12 others injured.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Manikganj District Hospital.
