5 killed as bus plunges into ditch in Khulna

A passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Khulna’s Dumuria upazila today killing at least five people and injuring about 15 others.
Identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately, said police.
Khulna-bound "Moumita Paribahan" veered off the road and fell into the pit in Boratia area around 12:30pm, Habil Hosen, officer-in-charge of Dumuria Police Station, said.
Further details in regard to the road crash were awaited.
