3 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi road crash

Three Bangladeshi nationals were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia early Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Julhash, 50 of Kachukhet area in Dhaka, Rashed, 65 of Mohammadpur area in Dhaka and Abul Bashar, 60 of Gopalganj district.

The accident took place on Jeddah Airport road as a wheel of a microbus carrying them got punctured with a big bang, leaving three passengers dead on the spot and six others injured.

The injured were taken to Madina King Fahad Hospital. Of the injured, three were kept at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

The accident took place when they were going to Jeddah Airport from Madina by a microbus for returning to Bangladesh by a flight of Saudi Airlines around 4:35 am.

All of them went to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah hajj by a travel agency.
