Schoolgirl electrocuted in Jhenidah

A schoolgirl was electrocuted at Pobhati in the district town on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ria Khatun, 10, a Class-IV student of Pobhati Khane Khoda Primary School and daughter of Saiful Islam of the area.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Emdadul Haque Sheikh said Ria was electrocuted while switching on a light at her house around 11am, leaving her dead on the spot.
