One held with fake notes in Chandpur

Police arrested a man along with fake currency notes worth Tk 1.30 lakh from Shologhar in the district town on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Iqbal Hossain, 29, son of Makbul ahmed of Char Kalmi village in Bhola district.
Tipped off, a team of police raided the house of Sobhan and arrested Iqbal along with fake currency notes of Tk 500 and Tk 1000 denominations worth Tk 1.30 lakh, said Rezaul Islam, inspector of Chandpur Model Police Station.
A case was filed.
