Microbus hits road divider in Tejgaon, worker killed

A construction worker was killed and another injured as a microbus crashed into a road divider in Tejgaon area of Dhaka early today.
The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 40.
The speeding microbus lost control and crashed into the road divider injuring two of the road construction workers there around 3:00am.
The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where Shafiqul succumbed to his injuries.
The other injured worker, Ismail Hosen, 40, is admitted to the DMCH.
The microbus driver had managed to flee the scene leaving the vehicle on the spot.
