2 die in gunfights with RAB

Two persons including a 'doper gang' (Aggyan Party) leader died in gunfights with the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Rampura and Turag thana area last night.

The deceaseds were identified as Kamal Parvez, 35 and Nazrul, 30, a doper gang leader.

Deputy Director (Media) of RAB headquarters ASP M Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan said snatcher Kamal Parvez was injured during a gunfight between RAB personnel and a group of miscreants at Balurghat of Bansree area under Rampura. Seriously injured Kamal later died while others fled. 

In another incident of gunfight between RAB and miscreants one Nazrul was killed at Protasha bridge under Turag thana area at around 3am today. The RAB official claimed that Nazrul was a leader of a 'doper gang' (Aggyan Party). 

The RAB has recovered a US-made pistol and a revolver and nine rounds of bullets from the places of occurrence, ASP Mizan said.
