Prime Minister to open DU Ruqayyah Hall building Saturday

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate a newly constructed building named ‘7th March’ of Ruqayyah Hall at Dhaka University (DU) on Saturday.
On the occasion, DU Combined Students’ Union will draw a 1971-foot street graffiti (alpona) from the Secretariat to the Du dormitory.
Combined Students’ Union was formed on Wednesday comprising of university’s 20 social and cultural organisations and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), said Sanjit Chandra Das, DU unit BCL president, at a press conference at Dhaka University Journalist Association's (DUJA) office on Thursday.
DU BCL General Secretary Saddam Hussein, General Secretary of Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS) Asad Mir and Natya Sangsad President Sanwarul Haque Sani were present at the press conference.
