Man held with 1.125kg heroin in Chapainawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a drug trader along with 1.125 kilogram heroin from Khoribona Rodpara area in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Saturday night.
The arrestee was identified as Md Jahid, 27, son of late Ashraful of Goraipara village in the upazila.
Being informed that that a gang of drug traders was staying in the area for selling heroin, a team of Rab-5 conducted drive and arrested Jahid along with the drug, said a Rab press release.
