2 workers die inhaling toxic gas in Chattogram

Two workers died after inhaling toxic gas in a septic tank of Chattogram Wasa at Madunaghat in Hathazari upazila on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam, 30, son of Abdur Rauf of Patuakhali district and Yusuf, 22, son of Al Amin of Kachua upzaila in Bagerhat district.
Zahirul Islam, in-charge of Chittagong Medical College Hospital police camp, said two workers climbed down to the septic tank of Wasa for cleaning in the morning.
Getting no response from the workers after a long time, local people entered the septic tank and rescued them. They took to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared the duo dead.
