Four promoted as acting secretaries

Four additional secretaries were transferred and given promotion to the posts of acting secretaries in the latest reshuffle in the administration.

The Public Administration Ministry issued two notifications on Tuesday in this regard.

As per the notification, Md Maksudur Rahman Patwary, director general of National Museum was made acting secretary of the Ministry of Land and SM Arif-ur-Rahman, additional secretary of Housing and Public Works Ministry, was made acting secretary of the Liberation War Affairs Ministry.

In another notification, Begum O N Siddiqa Khanom, additional secretary of Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs ministry, has been made acting secretary to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretariat and Additional Secretary Munshi Shahabuddin Ahmed, Transport Commissioner of the Government Transport Department, as chairman (acting secretary) to the Land Reforms Board.
