CEC to meet President today

Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda will meet President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in capital this afternoon.
“An election commission (EC) delegation led by its CEC is scheduled to meet with the President at Bangabhaban at 4 pm today,” President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS on Wednesday.
The CEC will be accompanied by four election commissioners during the meeting.
Taking to BSS, EC secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed said, “It’s a courtesy call-on.”
He added: “We’ll apprise the hounrable President of overall preparations for the next Jatiya Sangsad election.”
