EU polls experts arrive tomorrow

A two-member high-power European Union (EU) election expert mission will arrive in Dhaka tomorrow to monitor the upcoming general elections.

The members of the mission are: David Noel Ward and Eirini- Maria Gounari.

They are expected to stay in Bangladesh for about two months and extensively engage in pre and post election situation in Bangladesh, according to a diplomatic source in Brussels.

Before the election, they will hold meetings with stakeholders, political parties, media, Election Commission (EC), candidates, voters and other concerned.
