Fire guts 10 shops in Brahmanbaria

A total of ten shops were gutted in a fire which broke out at Chandura Bazar in Bijoynagar upazila early Friday.
The fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop and soon spread through in the dead of night.
On information, two firefighting units from the nearest fire station went to the spot and extinguished the blaze after two hours of frantic efforts, said Bijoynagar Pazila Nirbahi Officer Meher Nigar.
