Saudi King, Crown Prince greet Sheikh Hasina on AL’s landslide win

Saudi King and Custodian of two Holy Mosques Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday extended heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh Premier and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th parliamentary elections.

“The Saudi King sent a message congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on securing her party’s absolute majority in the national elections held on Sunday,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.

In the message, he said, King Salman wished success of the prime minister as well as steady progress and prosperity for the people of Bangladesh.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent a message greeting the prime minister on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th parliamentary elections, the press secretary said.

Hasina-led Awami League wins landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary election held on Sunday.
