Chinese ambassador meets DU VC

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Zhang Zuo on Tuesday met Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman at his residence. 

They discussed ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programmes among DU and various Chinese universities. 

Prof Akhtaruzzaman apprised the Chinese ambassador of the history, academic and research programmes of DU in brief. 

He said DU had many MoUs with various universities in China, noting that exchange of faculty members, researchers and students was going on regularly under these deals.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad, Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin, President of DU Teachers Association Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal, Secretary Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Proctor Prof Dr AKM Golam Robbani, among others, were present.
