BNP will perish in its internal feud: Quader

BNP will perish because of its own intra-party conflicts, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said today.

“We have no need to destroy the politics of BNP. They will perish because of their own conflicts,” he told reporters after a programme.

“BNP has its enemies within itself. No outsiders need to destroy it,” Quader, the secretary general of ruling Awami League, said.

He made the remarks after signing the construction deal for four-lane highway stretching from Tangail’s Elenga to Rangpur.

“Is there any need of the government to destroy BNP after its failure in the December 30 election?” the AL leader said.

Quader also urged the lawmakers elected from BNP to come the parliament. “We want strong opposition in the parliament,” he said.
